The tower roof and all the gutters are copper. The siding is Hardie panel cementitious panels custom cut and fitted to create subtle patterns. The floors and hallway walls are white birch from British Columbia. The living room ceilings are yellow birch veneer plywood. The old sagging wooden beams were jacked up, fitted with ½” steel flitch plates, capped on the bottom and then treated with gun-bluing and a lacquer finish. The bedroom walls are adorned with English wallpapers. The stairwell walls are done in grasscloth paper with ½” tempered glass railings and white oak caps. Four large skylights bring in ample light to the large kitchen and hallways.
